Today marks an end to an era. I have grown so much in the last year and im so grateful for foward health and giving me the space to heal. Honestly this place saves lives , the staff here go above and beyond for the clients daily. You can honestly see they care. The admissions team is the first ones you meet and they make you feel seen and heard. The counselors here will go above and beyond for each client. So coming into forward health i was skeptical about recovery and the while situation with the court system and so moving forward as im in intake I'm thinking should I stay or should I go you know I thought juggling my thoughts so done my intake and spent my first night and seen that my surroundings had the same similar defects I did and I got to thinking to myself that this isn't that bad that this place has allowed me to see the other side of life that I thought I never see and now here I am currently employed as a maintenance worker and living the best life I could possibly li e that I thought I did deserve thank you forward health for the life I have today stick around they will definitely make you a believer

I would give them 1000 stars if that was an option! Amazing place I would recommend hbrc to anyone. Very welcoming and a safe place. Staff is amazing they are caring and helpful. They take pride in what they do and only want the best for you and your recovery. Jeremiah is great at his job, gets stuff done didn't have to worry about anything with my job or my after care and do anything in his power to help I can honestly say he was a big part of why I stayed and continued my recovery. Andrew on evening staff is awesome he was always there to talk with when having a hard time and a very hard worker and care about recovery. you can see that in his work ethic. The therapists and support staff are genuinely invested in your recovery and they make you feel safe and truly heard.  The facility is clean, comfortable, and welcoming. This has been one of the best alcohol and drug rehabilitation programs I’ve attended throughout my 16 years of trying to get sober. With the help, support, and guidance of this program, I have now achieved 5 months sober, one day at a time. The program has helped me slowly and successfully integrate back into the real world while giving me the tools and support I need to continue my recovery. I would wholeheartedly recommend this facility to anyone I love or care about who is struggling with addiction. Marisa was my therapist, and she has continued to help me tremendously week after week. Her guidance, understanding, and support have meant so much to me throughout this process. Charisse, Raff, and Shannon were also incredibly helpful, caring, and supportive. Not only are the facility and therapists amazing, but the housing through New Jersey Sober Living was also tremendously accommodating. Any housing concerns I had were addressed immediately, which gave me an additional sense of stability and comfort during my recovery. I especially want to recognize Oscar, the Housing Director. He truly goes above and beyond and seems to work 24/7 to make sure everyone feels comfortable, safe, and at home. I honestly can’t say enough good things about Oscar. It’s clear that he genuinely cares about the people in the program and makes every effort to ensure everyone’s housing needs and concerns are taken care of. I’m incredibly grateful for the support I’ve received from everyone involved. Five months sober is something I’m very proud of, and I truly believe this program and the people who work here have played a huge part in helping me get to where I am today. I can’t say enough good things about the detox unit at Huntington Beach Recovery Center. My cousin had been struggling with drug and alcohol abuse for years until he found this place by the grace of God. The level of care they provide is truly outstanding. Their clients receive around-the-clock medical supervision from a team that is not only knowledgeable and professional, but also genuinely empathetic and compassionate. Truly impressive! As a recovering alcoholic, I know detox can be one of the most difficult and vulnerable parts of beginning the recovery process, and having a staff that makes people feel safe, respected, and cared for can make all the difference. My cousin just raves about the team at Huntington Beach Recovery Center and how they went above and beyond to provide such top-notch care and support for him throughout his entire detox process. I went to this program last year. I was not an ideal patient. I was very angry and emotional in general. I had a lot of trauma and mental health issues that needed to be worked on which my clinician helped me work through. Danielle, the program director, was amazing and really helped me out during some pretty dark days for me there. I appreciate all that you guys do and I'm really grateful for all your help. I am so thankful for NJRS. This facility has truly saved me from the darkest time in my life. From the moment I made the first step to call, the admission team was nothing but friendly and supportive. They continued to check in on me daily leading up to me being transported to their facility. The clinical team works hard to create meaningful and engaging sessions that focus on recovery and mental health. I especially appreciated Sharice and Raff. With all of the clients they interact with daily, they always remembered my story. They challenged me to think in new ways to truly better understand my addiction. The therapists were patient and catered each session to my individual needs. I stayed at the housing available to PHP clients. Oscar and his team were so supportive. Carrie Ann and Oscar especially got me through my toughest days. The staff was able to relate to my journey and took the time to get to know me beyond my addiction. The houses were comfortable and provided me with the structure and love I needed to complete the program. NJSL was my home away from home for many weeks. The other clients and staff became my family and support system. This program gave me the confidence to embark on my next chapter. I’m going into in patient Monday, I want to do 45-60 days. Every time I call the staff sounds so nice and genuine on the phone. Every time each individual is very helpfulI and patient as well. This is my first time going into treatment by my own decision. No court order or anything and im feeling confident that I will be able to heal and recover in a peaceful environment.
